📢 Public Announcement: Board Member Opening; Neahkahnie Water District

The Neahkahnie Water District is seeking applicants to fill a vacant position on the Board of Commissioners. This is an excellent opportunity for a community-minded individual to help guide the management and operation of our small, rural water system.  This is a working board, supporting 2 working staff members: the System Operations Manager and the Business Operations Manager.

Position: Board Member opening mid-term
Term: 4 years, next election Spring 2027
Application Deadline: 11/17/25

Eligibility:
Applicants must be residents within the Neahkahnie Water District service area and in good standing with the district.

Duties include:

·       Attending regular monthly board meetings

·       Helping establish district policies and budgets

·       Working with fellow board members to ensure safe and reliable water service from our pristine water resources

·       Potentially serve on specialty committees
